Bak Kut Teh now is really expensive, S$ 5 or S$ 6 for one small bowl. This dish is a popular favorites among alot of people. My grandparents like this dish a lot, according to their narration of the past.  Bak Kut Teh is normally sold by road side paddlers and they will just buy a bowl with a big serving of rice, sit by the road side and this will be considered a meal already.

It was lightly drizzling and the cold wind blows ( army ). We were sitting by the road side onlooking a singapores icon (ERP Gantry) counting the amount of ERP money Singapore is earning very min. Shortly the food is served, bak kut teh and you tiao. The piping hot peppery soup in this weather is like an saviour of the day. The soup served here is just nice as they did not over do the pepper. The pork ribs also cooked just nice, alot of places then to overcook it.
