After one long day of taking photos and shopping( i got myself a pair of cufflinks) , i was not really keen of having dinner. We actually wanted to eat MacDonald, but adrain suggested that we should go have korean at Togi.
The place was quite pack but we manage to get a seat within 15mins, the service from the lady boss was very good. The place has this very homely atmosphere, a nice place to have dinner with your family and friends. Once we sat down, we were served with 6 different appetizers, and they all taste really good, especially the kimchi fantastic. We then ordered Dol Sot Bi Bim Bab with beef, a beef ramen, grilled saba fish and a nice tofu + seafood soap, last but not the least korean tea.
Dol Sot Bi Bim Bab was served i did not mange to get a shot of the dish before it was mixed. The reason was that the service was so good that they even mixed the dish for you, but before that the chef will ask you how much kimchi paste( i think or it maybe chilli anyway it is red in colour), then he will mix the dish for you. He was really fast and in less then a a minute its done. After the first bite, i know that i will definately come back to this place. The rice is just fabulous, the combination of meat, mushrooms, veg and egg is really make to perfection.
Grilled fish is nicely grilled and it was served with wasabe and soya sause. The ramen is quite normally, maybe i still find ken ramen better.
Lastly the tofu soup another outstanding dish, the broth has a very nice seafood taste andthe tofu so soft that it will melt in your mouth. I do not really like soup base stuff, but this dish already on my list of favorites.
Paying S$50 for 3 person, this is a more than reasonable place to have your dinner. Beware this place may get quite crowed, during dinner hours.
